▶ Abstract: There is no greater challenge facing our planet than the climate crisis. That’s why U.S. President Biden has laid out the boldest climate agenda in U.S. history—one that will spur an equitable clean energy economy and cement America on a path to net-zero carbon emissions by 2050. Energy paradigm shift from fossil fuels to carbon-free sources (nuclear and renewables) can not be achieved without developing a game-changing technologies such as advanced nuclear reactors and integrated energy system. Idaho National Laboratory (INL) is U.S. Department of Energy (US-DOE) sponsored laboratory that leads the research and development (R&D) for clean energy technologies and infrastructure. This invited seminar will introduce the key R&D activities at INL and provide advice to graduate students to their successful career and future.
