However, practical engineering use of superconductors may be different from your imagination. In reality,&nbsp;the&nbsp;construction of&nbsp;a structurally robust electric system in a cryogenic environment is what superconductor magnet engineers do. Low resistivity (ideally zero) of superconductor enables high-performance or energy-efficient electric machines in diverse applications such as biomedical (e.g.&nbsp;MRI, NMR), electric (e.g.&nbsp;power cable, generator), energy (e.g.&nbsp;fusion), transportation (e.g.&nbsp;UAM, hyperloop), scientific applications (e.g.&nbsp;dark matter detector, particle accelerator).&nbsp;In this particular talk,&nbsp;superconductor magnets used for particle accelerators&nbsp;will&nbsp;be introduced.&nbsp;</span></p>
