Cementitious grouts used to make wasteforms physically and chemically bind radioisotopes, playing a primary role by immobilizing radioactive waste. Cementitious grouts used as a backfill material and cement concrete in artificial barriers provide redundancy in the waste management and ensure safety and stability of the whole system. This talk revisits some of representative cementitious binders that are being considered as a candidate material for disposing radioactive waste. The performance of Portland cement-derivatives binders and alkali-activated cements will be discussed in relation to their phase assemblages and durability.
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; font-size: 10pt; font-family: "맑은 고딕"; color: rgb(33, 33, 33); background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);">
